Mia AKA Starumi

Hello, call me Mia. I am currently a Multimedia Arts student in De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. I am an experienced digital illustrator, with 7+ years of experience working with digital art softwares such as Ibis Paint, and a year of experience working as a sketch artist under Pixel Art Media Production.

I do what I do

I have been called a storyteller before. I agree with the idea as most of my works include an aspect of telling a story. Since I was a child I have been creating characters, comics, and animations. My inspirations coming from the video games and cartoons I’ve viewed as a child, and of course the Musical Animatic era of YouTube. I have had many of the original characters in this portfolio for multiple years, and at this point they had grown up with me as well.

As an Artist

The world has given me plenty to explore, from the rich culture and mythology of my country, and the artistic abilities of my loved ones around me. I believe the world had given me so much to work with, my art and my stories are a way to give back to the world.
